Afshan lives and paints in Houston, TX. She studied Fine Arts in college and has recently gone back to painting after a long hiatus.

Her abstract artworks are contemporary and currently are mostly acrylic and resin on board. These works are free flowing with a bold blend of colors. The resin coat brings out the brilliance of the colors. Each of these is an original work and a one of a kind painting that can never be duplicated.

Her landscapes are mostly oil on canvas and are drawn from scenic inspirations that she has seen in her travels. These paintings are much more labor intensive due to the details, technique and medium.
